[Introduction:]
-What is the Venus transit 2004?
-Venus transit at our school
[The day of the transit:]
-What was happening in the sky
-What was happening on the ground
[Conclusion:]
-The last word from the observers

[Information on the school]
[What was happening in the sky]
The phenomenon was started at 05:19.8 AM Universal Time Coordinated (UTC) by the first contact (C1) (The Venus started to cross in front of the Sun.). The second contact (C2) occurred at 05:39.4 AM UTC. The third contact (C3) occurred at 11:3.8 AM UTC. The phenomenon was finished by the fourth contact (C4) at 11:23.1 AM UTC when the Venus left the sun disk.

The Venus orbits the Sun quicker than the Earth does, so the earthly observer will see the Venus transiting the Sun from the east to the west:
Phase 1: The Venus is "entering" the Sun. (This position matches C1 and C2.)
Phase 2: The Venus is in the point of its transit which is the closest one to the center of the Sun (As see from the Earth.).
Phase 3: The Venus is "leaving" the Sun. (This position matches C3 and C4.)

Photographs taken by our observational team:

The telescope which was used for taking the photos was not equipped with the parallactic tripod. That is why the images are improperly oriented.

The Venus "enters" the Sun at 05:25 AM UTC.
The second contact at 05:40 AM UTC

05:48 AM UTC

07:17 AM UTC

08:36 AM UTC

08:52 AM UTC
10:08 AM UTC
11:04 AM UTC- the third contact; Clouds are hindering in the upper left corner of the image.
