Ze země vypadá skutečně krásně; na noční obloze září jasněji pouze Měsíc. Pokud byste se chtěli po Venuši procházet, nejdříve si všimnete nesnesitelného vedra a obrovského tlaku. Je tu tak strašné horko, že kovy tají. Je stále zamračeno . To málo slunečního světla, co dokáže projít mraky, se silně zakřivuje a proto tu slunce vypadá jako plochý disk.
