Welcome on website which is devoted to rare astronomical phenomenon, which the most of world population can see, for the first and the last time together in their life, on 08.06.2004. The Venus transit over the Sun is quite rare phenomenon, when an observer can see planet Venus passing in front of Sun. Venus must be in low conjunction and when Venus passes node of her orbit (place, where the level of Venus orbit and the level of Earth orbit are intersect), then we can observe her passing on Earth in front of Sun. The last passing was observed in 1882. Next passing will be observable in 2012 and after it again in 2117. Our team tried to contribute to VT-2004 project, though only in amateurish level and sometimes with foulness of weather. Whether we were successful, it depends on your opinion. |
