Description of observation and measuring

First we used GPS receiver for determination geographic coordinates of our standing place, which was situated on the roof of school. GPS receiver was used also for determination exact time of observation separate phases of phenomenon and for determination exact time of each photograph.

Photos was taken from sight of phenomenon, which was projected on shield. For observation by naked eye, there was used welding goggles with combination of welding glass. This welding glass was sometimes used for observation of telescope or video camera.

By video camera there was made and processed a video record, which was modified to movie about whole observation. This movie is on these web site available, too.

Main phases of phenomenon were exactly measured only two - the moment of first inner contact and the moment of the last outer contact. Bad weather, exactly clouds, prohibit exact measuring both left moments. After beginning of observation and first contact sky get clean and nice blue without clouds. Before end of phenomenon sky get cloudly again and these clouds prohibited observation and exact measuring second inner contact. When the last phase of phenomenon was coming, clouds get tear to pieces and we were able to observe and measure the last Venus contact of Sun.
