determine of important times

We observed the Venus transit on 8th June 2004. We used the Dobson telescope 250/1500 with the AstroSolar Beeder Safety Film. We were successful with determination from 5:15 UT to 11:25 UT. But we didn’t determinate T1, because we couldn’t find Venus after T1. T3 is uncertain. Clouds started to pass over the sky in 10:43 UT and it stopped to pass in 11:12 UT.

Between T1 and T2 we could see the aura of Venus, but between T3 and T4 we didn’t see anything. Effect of dark drop was visible after T2 and before T3.

Our recorded times

T1 = indeterminate
T2 = 05:39:04 UT
T3 = 11:03:56 UT
T4 = 11:22:52 UT

And here our gallery with some photos….
